AIAM’s Acupuncture program is the equivalent of a master’s level program. It involves coursework in bio-medical science, clinical training, professional development—including counseling, communications, ethics and practice management—and other related acupuncture studies. The full-time curriculum takes three academic years (27 months) to complete and consists of nine 12-week quarters, totaling 2,170 clock hours.
Students are expected to maintain high academic standards and meet all graduation requirements (as listed in the course catalog). Because of the advanced academic demands of this curriculum, students must have previous educational credits of at least an associate’s degree and/or 60-semester or 90-quarter credits at the baccalaureate level. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates receive a diploma and are prepared to be competent qualified practitioners of acupuncture.

A Diplomate of Acupuncture is an acupuncturist who is certified by the National Certification Board for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (NCBAHM®). It is a considerable professional achievement to earn the designation Diplomate of Acupuncture (NCBAHM). NCBAHM certification indicates to employers, patients, and peers that one has met national standards for the safe and competent practice of acupuncture as defined by the acupuncture and herbal medicine (AHM) profession. For additional information, about the Diplomate of Acupuncture, please visit the NCBAHM Website.

I have been practicing Reiki since early 2006 and received my Reiki Master/Teacher certification in November of 2006. I enjoy the balancing effect and must admit it was the catalyst that brought me to acupuncture.
I have taken the Acupuncture without Borders (AWB) training to utilize the NADA protocol for trauma and addiction. Currently I am working with another acupuncturist to set up a free monthly clinic for first responders and veterans. If you would like additional information regarding this, please check out the Facebook page at www.facebook.com/TWPOhio or the website at www.TWPOhio.com for more information. The veteran's clinic was put on hold due to covid and we have not returned to these efforts at this time.
This Certification was through the Center of Aromatherapy Research and Education. It was a CEU course that I took in 2006. It was a part of an aromatherapy course including chemistry of essential oils, biblical oils of the bible and their uses, vitaflex techniques, raindrop therapy I and II, and emotional release techniques with essential oils.
Raindrop Therapy is a technique that uses essential oils to promote balance and wellness in the body. The technique involves applying essential oils to the feet and then dropping them onto the spine in a raindrop-like fashion. The technique was created by D. Gary Young, the founder of Young Living Essential Oils. It's based on Young's studies with a Lakota medicine man and other techniques he studied. The technique typically uses nine essential oils with antiviral, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties. Some common oils used include basil, cypress, marjoram, and oregano.
At InnerChi Acupuncture, my work is rooted in the belief that healing is both a physical and energetic journey. I am a wellness practitioner, teacher, and mentor who integrates multiple healing modalities to support the whole person — body, mind, and spirit. My approach blends classical Eastern medicine with intuitive, modern therapeutic techniques, creating a space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered in their healing.
InnerChi is more than a treatment space. It is a sanctuary for transformation, education, and community — a place where ancient wisdom meets contemporary care.
My Philosophy
Healing is never one‑dimensional. Every symptom has a story, every imbalance has a root, and every person carries a unique energetic signature. My work honors that individuality.
I combine:
Traditional Chinese Medicine
Korean facial rejuvenation techniques
Energetic therapies
Somatic awareness
Intuitive guidance
to create treatments that are both clinically effective and deeply restorative.
My goal is simple:
To help you feel better, look brighter, and live more connected to your own inner chi.
Modalities I Practice
I use acupuncture, meridian therapy, moxa, cupping, tui na, gua sha, and Chinese dietary therapy support to address:
Pain
Stress
Digestive imbalance
Hormonal concerns
Sleep issues
Emotional regulation
Chronic conditions
Each treatment is customized to your constitution, lifestyle, and energetic needs.
A signature offering at InnerChi, this method blends:
Ultra‑fine facial acupuncture
Facial cupping
Gua sha sculpting
Micro‑needling
Serum infusion
Cooling stone therapy
to lift, brighten, and rejuvenate the skin naturally.
It supports collagen production, reduces fine lines, improves tone, and harmonizes facial qi.
My background in Reiki, crystal therapy, moonology, and intuitive energy work allows me to support clients on deeper levels. These sessions help:
Clear stagnation
Release emotional blocks
Restore energetic flow
Support spiritual alignment
Many clients describe these treatments as grounding, clarifying, and transformative.
I incorporate ancient stone medicine principles and modern light therapy to enhance healing outcomes. These tools help regulate inflammation, support tissue repair, and shift emotional patterns held in the body.
These hands‑on modalities improve circulation, release muscular tension, and support detoxification. They are often integrated into acupuncture sessions for amplified results.
Beyond clinical work, I am passionate about:
Teaching healing principles
Mentoring practitioners
Creating educational content
Hosting workshops and events
Supporting the growth of the wellness community
InnerChi also offers rental space for practitioners, creating a collaborative environment for healing arts in Fairlawn.
My Mission
To offer care that is:
Compassionate
Evidence‑informed
Energetically aligned
Intuitively guided
Rooted in ancient wisdom
Adapted for modern life
Every session is an invitation to reconnect with your body, reclaim your vitality, and rediscover your inner chi.
My Promise to You
At InnerChi, you are not just treated — you are supported, educated, and empowered.
Healing is a partnership, and I am honored to walk that path with you.
